• The SIAM (System for Information and Awareness Mediation) Software is a lightweight task-management system to foster group communication, to create and assign tasks and to provide awareness of what other people are doing. It represents and provides the software infrastructure and information architecture.
    • The interaction with SIAM can be at a personal workplace, e.g., a laptop, or at the Informall, e.g. in the hallway, by personalizing through an RFID-tag.

 

    • SIAM involves activities as organizing a meeting, creating a shared Task Board with dynamic adaption to the current situation, creating tasks and assigning them to people, inviting people to a Task Board, synchronous distributed editing of a Task Board and creating and accessing of virtual bags using an RFID tags.
    • Another person can be notified via SIAM about tasks that were assigned to him.
    • SIAM offers assistance at everday working situations as the joint preparation of a presentation.
